Budew had gotten user to hopping around freely once again, not having been able to do so ever since its capture a short while ago. She'd look back at Lui every once in a while, who had been slightly tired after having to run back to the lab from the edge of town, due to the fact that he'd left the lab whilst forgetting to pick up pick up his pokedex and starting pokeballs.
"I guess the excitement just .. *pant* got to me.." He'd comment, looking over at his small green partner before finally reaching the edge of town ...*again*. He' overlook a vast green field, a river laying in the middle of it, and a few marill here and there dotting the rivers sides.
The scene had seemed peaceful, that was until an orange figure burst out of the river, striking at the marills with a great fury. The marill begun to rout instantly, trying to escape this pokemon's wrath. Lui would look on in amusement, letting out a whistle as this orange creature demonstrated its immense strength.
"Well, that was a neat little performance... Its a shame that this pokemon had to show its face around us though isn't it Budew, Us two, we're duty bound to catch this strong pokemon and add it to our team now!!" Lui stated, his confidence brimming as he begun dashing across the field and toward the river where this orange pokemon awaited.
The pokemon turned its head towards the two approaching challengers, growling in response before meeting their charge with his own. The battle had begun.
