In the RP, starter Pokemon will always be the first you receive. But, we do not limit people to choosing from the standard set. We allow for you to choose (almost) any first stage Pokemon as a starter. Depending on your trainer type, you will receive them differently, but all must be posted in your Starter thread on the Starter Board.
The post you make there will determine your starting Poke and EXP. This is mandatory before you are allowed to RP freely on the site.
The following Pokemon can NOT be received as Starter Pokemon:
All legendaries, all psuedo-legendaries, baby Pokemon (with the exception of Riolu, Togepi, Tyrouge, Wynaut, Chingling, Munchlax, and Mantyke), Unown, The Ultra Beasts, and Mythicals.
