On Pokemon Beta, all Pokemon (with the exception of legendaries) are created equal. Encounters work like this:
1. Create a thread with the tag [Encounter]
2. Post it in the Alert Thread
3. A mod will look at the post, determine if you are ready, and then RP in the thread as a wild Pokemon to facilitate the battle
4. Battle as normal and try to capture the Pokemon. When a ball is thrown, the mod will decide if the capture is successful or not.
5. After a successful capture, you will be rewarded with an EXP boost
